When we take a look at our cities today, the water is often the largest and most untapped potential. The water and access to water was critical for The Market towns and their location. But surprisingly, these areas often inaccessible today. Cities today have miles of harbor edge, but this separates more than it gives connects and give access.
The Harbour Edge is a two-meter high edge, dictated by the needs of industry and scale, ships and containers size, even long after the same industry and ships have long since sailed out of the cities. This formed the basis for the development of the project proposal CultureEdge.
